Here is what you need

Entry qualifications for all our courses are normally defined in terms of the UK qualifications, for example A levels for undergraduate and a UK degree for postgraduate.

Undergraduate courses

The requirements for our undergraduate (bachelor's) courses are expressed in terms of UCAS tariff points which relate to UK qualifications. The higher the tariff point, the higher grade you need. We accept some local qualifications (for example, high school, 12th Standard) as equivalent to UK A levels for direct admission to the first year of your undergraduate programme

For some countries the standard School Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) may not be enough to secure entry into Year 1 - you may have to study a foundation or extended year (sometimes called a pathway course).

If you have studied the equivalent of a higher national diploma or foundation degree in your own country, you may be able you to enter the second or third year of a degree. If you apply for second or third-year entry, please enclose copies of your certificates and mark sheets (transcripts) when you apply.

Postgraduate courses

The requirements for our postgraduate (master's) courses are usually expressed in terms of a UK degree classification - most of our courses require a minimum of a 2.2 (lower second class) honours degree. Some may require a 2.1 classification - please check for your specific course. For many countries we accept an undergraduate degree from a local university.

In some exceptional circumstances we may accept a student with extensive experience and/or a professional qualification.
