Call for curatorial volunteers for film tracing coalmining history

A Teesside University academic is calling for volunteers to get involved in the creation of a new film about the region’s coalmining history.

Brave civil war volunteers inspire poet’s latest work

The brave sacrifice made by volunteers from our region who journeyed to Spain in the mid-1930s to fight the forces of fascism has inspired a new collection of poems by a Teesside University academic.
