Open your mind at Teesside’s open day

13 October 2002

Interested in gaining new qualifications or getting into a new career? Then head to the University of Teesside’s Open Day on Wednesday 23 October from 2pm-4.30pm, where you can learn about the opportunities available. The Open Day is free and open to all members of the public.

Drop-in facilities are available from each of the University’s Academic Schools and staff will be available to discuss courses, student finance and accommodation. Regular tours of the whole campus will take place throughout the day.

Sharon Bimson, Schools and Colleges Liaison Officer at the University, said: “The University Open Day is an ideal opportunity to look around the campus and get an idea of life at this modern University. We offer a range of traditional and innovative new courses and our campus features some amazing buildings, with first class equipment and facilities. I would encourage anyone considering Higher Education to pay us a visit on our Open Day, especially as the University & College Admissions Service (UCAS) closing date for all university applications is drawing near.”

Anyone wishing to make a group or individual booking can contact the Schools and Colleges Liaison office on 01642 342275. .
