Open your mind at Teesside’s open day

06 October 2004

If you’re not sure which course or subject to choose, or if you have any concerns about entering Higher Education, then come along to our Open Day on Wednesday 20 October.  The campus will be open to the public from 2pm - 8pm, so you can drop in whenever it suits you.

Guests at the Open Day will be able to find out about our huge range of courses, from traditional degrees, to the innovative Foundation Degrees.  These new qualifications are ideal for people who are already in work and are looking for ways to further their careers by increasing their on-the-job skills.

Everyone is welcome - potential students, parents, careers advisers, those in employment seeking professional development skills, anyone wanting to gain skills and qualifications to take a step into employment and those who want to study for pleasure. There’s something for everyone.

There will be talks throughout the Open Day on all areas of higher education, from general overviews, to subject-specific presentations.  Advice sessions will also be available covering the application process, accommodation, graduate careers and student finance.

The University of Teesside has invested over £70 million in its campus providing students with access to some of the most up-to-date facilities in the country. The open day is the perfect opportunity to see some of these impressive facilities for yourself.

If you would like to book a place please contact the Schools and Colleges Liaison office on 01642 342275, or just drop in on the day.  On-line booking is also available on the University’s website at: www.tees.ac.uk
