4S: Society for Social Studies of Science conference

Drawing on research from coastal villages in North East England, Carrie presented a paper on Broadband technology’s role in re-vitalising isolated rural communities. Professor Green’s paper focused upon the strengths of triangulating different types of research data about women’s health. They attended networking events with international colleagues at different venues in the city which culminated in a conference banquet sponsored by MIT Press and 4S.
