Lynn steps out in style for charity

Fearless University of Teesside Student Enterprise Ambassador Lynn Wrightson is preparing to take brave steps to raise funds for charity.

Lynn, who works in the University’s Academic Enterprise department, will be taking part in a fundraising fire walk in aid of the Butterwick Children’s Hospice in Stockton.

The event, which will see fundraisers walk barefoot across a bed of hot coals, will be held at Chicago Rock Café in Middlesbrough at 8pm on Sunday 28 September.

She decided to take part as she is a keen supporter of the charity. Lynn said: ‘I really enjoy a daring challenge. So when the opportunity arose to take part, I jumped at the chance.’

Lynn, of Middlesbrough, who has worked at the University for 11 years, has completed other fundraising challenges for a range of charities including a 10km run, a skydive and an abseil from the Transporter Bridge.
