Free courses can offer a springboard for change

Seek a new career direction, return to study or enjoy a leisure interest this Spring through a range of free courses here at the University.

The free courses will be of interest to those aiming to return to study after a break from education or perhaps seeking a fresh new career direction in the current economic climate.

A wide range of Spring University short courses start in March at providing an opportunity to study a variety of subjects such as art and design to business, sport, media, history, forensic science, criminology and law.

Full access to books and computers Participants have full access to books and use of computers in the University’s Learning Resource Centre on Southfield Road. Priority for places is given to those who do not hold a higher education equivalent qualification. Fees are paid by the University's Widening Participation Fund.

Spring University courses carry recognised University credits. Accumulation of 20 credits leads to a University Certificate in Continuing Education. For more information or to book a place online contact 01642 342291.
