Help on offer for businesses

09 April 2009

Businesses are to be asked what the School of Computing can do for them at special networking event.

The School of Computing’s inaugural networking event School Is Out 4 Business, will be held at Sassari’s, Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough, from 5.30pm to 8.00pm on Tuesday 28 April.

The aim is to provide an opportunity for local businesses to network while also influencing the School of Computing’s future business support activities.

Businesses attending the event will be asked for their views on how the School of Computing can offer support now and also when the current economic downturn comes to an end.

Businesses will also be asked about their software needs and whether the School’s animators, multimedia and web staff could offer help.

Any businesses hoping to attend the event, or with suggestions about what the networking event could focus on, should email scm-business@tees.ac.uk or contact the School’s Industrial and Enterprise Office on 01642 384300.

All responses will be entered into a prize draw to win a bottle of champagne.
