Academy sponsors to consult with the community

Teesside University is the lead sponsor of the proposed Freebrough Academy in East Cleveland.

And consultation evenings are to take place next week to generate feedback from the local community about this proposal.

The events will be held at the following venues, starting at 6.30pm and ending an hour later:

>Monday 2 November, Freebrough Specialist Engineering College >Tuesday 3 November, Skelton Primary School >Wednesday 4 November, Loftus Town Hall.

The sessions will offer the public an opportunity to meet and put questions to representatives of the Academy sponsors.

The main sponsor is Teesside University, along with co-sponsors Prior Pursglove College in Guisborough and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council’s local authority.

The public can not only ask questions about the Academy plans, they can also share their views and opinions and help inform the planning process of the College becoming an Academy.
