A night at the musicals at Teesside

South African born soprano Miranda Francis and the Norton Ensemble will present an evening of songs from the musicals at Teesside University.

A Night at the Musicals will be staged on Thursday 25 February from 7.00pm to 9.00pm in the University’s Main Hall, Brittan Building for Sport & Well-being. Proceeds from the show will go to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Although born in South Africa, Miranda settled in Norton when she married her husband Pat. Recent local performances by Miranda and the Norton Ensemble have included the Alderburgh Festival, St. Mary's Church in Norton in aid of the Alzheimer's Society and at Wynyard in aid of Stockton’s Butterwick Hospice.

The performance will be conducted by David Beall with accompanist Alison Gill. The full programme for the night includes drinks reception at 6.30pm and an interval at 7.45pm.
