Spark launches at Teesside

A dramatic new business marketing campaign has been launched by the University.

Designed in house by the Graphics team in Marketing & Student Recruitment and closely linked to the overall University brand, Spark provides a highly visual corporate identity for all the University’s work with business. It means that every type of activity – workforce development, consultancy, knowledge transfer, placements and business start-up – can be promoted under the same Spark umbrella. And a toolkit of associated materials, from promotional stands to folders, will feature the Spark logo.

Key stakeholders are also being alerted to the campaign, with eye-catching mail-outs to 3,000 businesses across the region.

Laura Woods, Director of Academic Enterprise, said: ‘For the first time we have a really powerful identity for all the business engagement work of colleagues in schools and departments – and it can be used for anything from general promotion down to very specific services in a particular school.
