Fuse centre named as part of national School for Public Health Research

CHASE is highly delighted that Fuse, the Centre for Translational Research in Public Health, a collaboration of the five North East universities including Teesside, has recently become one of eight leading academic centres in applied public health research in England to become part of the newly formed national School for Public Health Research. Janet Shucksmith, co–director for CHASE is also a co-director for Fuse. CHASE has worked with Fuse on a range of research and evaluation projects, and anticipates continued collaboration as Fuse continues to develop its role as a centre of excellence in the field of public health research. The new School was launched in April 2012. Further details can be accessed here
