Another year of freshers' fun at Teesside

New and returning students can expect more than just a fun filled freshers’ this year with headline acts DJ Fresh and Professor Green.

Chart sensation DJ Fresh will be on the decks in The Hub on Tuesday 25 September from 9.00pm, and on Saturday 29 September from 8.00pm one of hip hop’s current superstars Professor Green hits the stage at Freshers Ball 2012.

Professor Green has released two albums and went straight to number one with the smash hit ‘read all about it’ featuring Emeli Sandé earlier this year.

He has also appeared at festivals from the Isle of Wight all the way to Magaluf and will be hitting Teesside as the resident artist for freshers’ 2012.

During freshers’ fortnight, there will be lots more events such as the renowned Lo Reid’s Hypnotist Show, Dirty Disco, Happy Campus Comedy and The Bomb.

Daytime events On Monday 23 September there will be a welcome day event where you can meet current students and find your way around campus on one of the guided tours.

Throughout freshers’, the students' union will be holding other events during the day and there will be a whole host of information and freebies on offer, as well as the chance to join a wide range of clubs and societies.

The freshers’ pass is on sale at the students' union for £35, enabling you to get into all the events over the fortnight. Tickets for individual events will also be on sale.
