A delegation of 14 Digital Art and Media experts travelled from China to attend Animex, Teesside University’s International Festival of Animation.

Animex is a yearly event organised by Teesside University, which invites professionals from the Animation, Visual Effects & Games industries to deliver workshops, presentations and allows Teesside’s own talented students to network with and exhibit their work to key contacts.

Representatives from Telfort Business Institute, Shanghai, the School of Digital Art and Communication and Yunnan Art University travelled to Teesside to experience the world-renowned event, which has been attracting audiences from around the globe for almost 20 years.

Pu He, Associate Professor, School of Visual Communication Design, Yunnan Art University, said ‘Our visit gave us a comprehensive understanding of the world class facilities on the campus. Seeing the amazing student work in the graduation exhibition left a deep impression on us. We were very keen on the Animex worskhops. It was such a fascinating experience to listen to all these experts share their latest projects.'
