Teesside is now ranked joint 68th out of 121 institutions in the annual league table that uses statistics from a variety of sources to rank universities in the UK.

The league table is designed to assist students in making a decision on which university they should choose and Teesside is one of the highest climbers having risen 34 places since 2017.

Eleven subjects saw an improved ranking position compared to 2018, with a number seeing significant improvements. Teesside ranked 5th (of 81 institutions) for ‘Music’.

In addition, ‘Art’, ‘Biosciences’, ‘Engineering: Mechanical’, ‘English & Creative Writing’, ‘Health Professions’ and ‘History’ each featured in the top third of institutions in their subject table.

It is the latest in a series of improvements in UK university rankings for Teesside University.
