Enrolment
What happens if I don’t receive the grades/UCAS points I need to get on my course?
While competition for university places is always high, there is a great deal of support if you find yourself without a course offer.
So, don’t panic. Advice is available from the Passport Team and you will also get additional opportunities to apply through UCAS Extra and Clearing.
Course vacancies in Clearing are published on the UCAS website from mid-August until late-September. Visit the UCAS website.
How do I enrol?
The admissions administrators at your institution will receive your results when you do and send you a confirmation letter including details of when and how to enrol. You should hear from them quite soon after you pick up your results.
What if I cannot settle in to university life?
It can take time to settle into new surroundings and university life. If you have any concerns or feel unhappy, talk to staff at your university. You should have been allocated a personal tutor and you also have access to the university counselling services. They will help you identify problems and suggest ways of minimising them.
At Teesside, the counselling service is based within Student Services.
