When do I need to apply for my student loan?
Information on fees and funding is available from the Directgov website. You can apply for student funding from November of the year before you plan to start university.
Information on full-time fees, funding and bursaries at Teesside is available on our full-time funding page.
When will I get my student loan and will it be all at once or in instalments?
Information on applying for and receiving student loans is available from the DirectGov.
How will I pay back my student loan when I leave University?
Student loans do not have to be repaid until the April after you have left your course. Even then, you only start repayments when you are earning over £15,000 a year. You will only repay a percentage of your income above £15,000 - so repayments are based on the amount you earn and not the amount you owe.
