I won't know anyone, how will I make new friends?
During your first week there will be many opportunities to meet new people and begin making new friends. If you are moving in to university accommodation, you will be living with other first year students who will be going through the same experiences.
Your university school or faculty will most likely put on an induction programme where you will have the opportunity to meet other people studying the same subject.
The students' union will provide a huge and diverse range of social activities where you can meet new people in a friendly and interesting social environment.
