Why did you choose to study at Teesside University?

I chose to study MSc Petroleum Technology at Teesside University because of the affordable tuition fees and international bursary.

How did your time at University help prepare you for your career?

My first degree is in geology but my MSc directed my current work role as I gained ample exposure to surface petroleum processes. I also gained lots of transferrable skills and was part of the Teesside University volunteer scheme - Volun-tees. I also pioneered and chaired the Nigerian Students Association (NSA Tees).
My career to date has been absolutely fascinating. I have worked on many projects and met lots of great people.

What did you enjoy most about studying at Teesside University?

As a Nigerian student, I had immense support from the University and especially the international development officer Pamela Whittingham. She even found time in her tight schedule to attend our inaugural ceremony.
