Satish's doctoral research involves gait analysis, motion retargeting, agent diversity and crowd simulation for games and animation. The title of his project is 'A Data Driven Approach to Motion Diversification in relation to Body Morphology’. Satish currently teaches motion capture, animation, graduate startup and game design. Satish continues to support the Animex Festival.

Research interests

Satish's PhD research involves gait analysis, motion retargeting, agent diversity and crowd simulation for games and animation. The title of his thesis project is 'A Data Driven Approach to Motion Diversification in relation to Body Morphology’. The aim is to improve the believability of diverse cloned virtual characters and save animators time and effort modifying keyframed and motion captured walk cycles.

Research interests include: Virtual agent diversification, gait analysis, biomechanics, animation, motion capture.

Enterprise interests

Satish supports graduate business startup in the fields of games and animation studios and is looking for opportunities to expand the University's motion capture expertise to commercial partners.
