Research training and events

The Health and Social Care Institute hosts a number of seminars and training events to which all are welcome. Please check with the HSCI administrator if you wish to attend in case of last minute venue or timetable changes and to allow us to ensure we have sufficient accommodation to cope with changing numbers.

HSCI seminar series

HSCI postgraduate research students' seminar
This event usually takes place on the first Tuesday of each month between 2.30pm and 3.30pm. The seminars provide a forum in which HSCI postgraduate research students can, for example:

  • discuss issues of mutual interest
  • arrange presentations by external speakers
  • present work to their peers in a constructive mutually supportive environment.
