International Student Barometer 2017 prize draw winners announced

We are pleased to announce the winners of the International Student Barometer 2017 prize draw.

The International Student Barometer is a global survey in which universities worldwide participate to get feedback from international students.

Teodora Toma won £100 and Hitesh Neamichand, Caesar Gebremedhin and Zhangqiushi Wang, BA (Hons) Computer Games Design, all won £50 after submitting their feedback and being randomly selected from those who took part in the Survey.

Teodora Toma, MSCi Forensic and Scientific Studies, is impressed with the support from her course lecturers and tutors and commented “I would recommend my course to anyone thinking of applying to Teesside, the staff are supportive and there are lots of opportunities to get practical experience in your field.”

Zhangqiushi (Autumn) Wang, BA (Hons) Computer Games Design, said that “The best thing about Teesside University for me has been the enrolment process, it has really helped me settle in.” She also had great things to say about the staff on her course, mentioning that “tutors offer lots of support.”

"I would recommend my course to anyone thinking of applying to Teesside, the staff are supportive and there are lots of opportunities to get practical experience in your field.”

Dr David Bell, Pro-Vice-Chancellor International, congratulated and presented the two winners with their prize, saying: “Teesside University has recorded fantastic results again in the International Student Barometer Survey. Our success demonstrates that our ongoing investment in student experience is having a very positive effect.”

Released in January 2018, the International Student Barometer 2017 revealed that there was 94.4% satisfaction rate overall for Teesside University and 100% satisfaction rate for our careers service. (409 students participated).
