Centre for Crime, Harm, Prevention & Security

The Centre for Crime, Harm and Security builds on existing research excellence within the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Law and across the University. It draws on an existing network of national and international partners to seek solutions to two overarching research concerns: organised crime, crime and harm prevention and security. We work in close collaboration with the Cyber Security Research Group and have combined interests in analysis of human behaviours in relation to security, network security, data analytics for security and privacy, analysis, prevention and intervention of cybercrime (including non-financial and financial crime), and policing in cyber-crime.
