About Anne Lodge

Dr Anne Lodge graduated from Teesside University with an LLB Law (first class honours) in 2003 and then went on to obtain a PhD from Durham University in 2008.

This research informs her teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, where she leads modules in Criminal Law and Lawful & Unlawful Killing.

Research interests

Anne's primary research focus is criminal law and criminal law theory, with a particular interest in criminal law defences.
