Victoria Bell (MRes Rural Social Science and PhD, Newcastle University) is a senior lecturer in sociology. Her academic background is in rural issues, with her PhD focusing on experiences of living, working and visiting Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site. Victoria’s research interests are varied expertise includes: research methodologies, in particular qualitative and visual methods; volunteering; the sociology of tourism; heritage; space and place. Interests include: social theory, public art and the sociology of motorcycling.
