About Alexandra Mendes

Dr Alexandra Mendes joined Teesside University in 2015 as a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science. Her research interests include formal methods and innovative interfaces, in particular, interactive surfaces.

Alexandra obtained her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham and she holds a 5-year degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Minho, Portugal.

  • Algorithmic problem solving
  • Innovative interfaces (in particular, interactive surfaces)
  • Software Engineering
