DR BOB aims to demonstrate the economic and environmental benefits of demand response in blocks of buildings for energy retailers, aggregators, electricity network operators and facilities owners and managers.
The DR-BOB project is a European collaborative project co-ordinated by Teesside University working the following partners from the UK, France, Italy, Romania and the Netherlands: Siemens, CSTB, Nobateck, GridPocket, R2M Solutions, Fondaxione Poliambulanza, Dunworks, Servelect and the Technicla Univeristy Cluj-Napoca. To demonstrate the economic and environmental benefits of demand response for the different key actors required to bring Demand Response services in blocks of buildings to market the DR-BOB project has the following ambitious but achievable objectives:
