Technology Futures Institute
Tannaz graduated with a BSc. in Chemical Engineering-Safety and Technical Inspection from the Petroleum University of Technology in Iran. She completed an MSc. in Reservoir Geoscience and Engineering (RGE) at the Institut Français du Pétrole (IFP School) in France. She went on to research for a PhD in Petroleum Geosciences at the International Centre for Carbonate Reservoirs (ICCR), which is a strategic research alliance between University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University. During her PhD she worked with Petrobras and BG group as industrial sponsors and Brazilian universities as academic partners.
Tannaz is a steering committee member of Interpore UK.
Tannaz is leading a research project funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering which is a collaborative research with partners from University of Edinburgh and University of Santa Catarina in Brazil.

Currently I am willing to take two full-time PhD students to work on the subjects of interest outlined above. There is no funding available at the moment so the candidates should be funded.
Requirement: BSc. and an MSc. (MEng.) degrees in Petroleum Engineering, Hydrology, Chemical Engineering, or close subjects, and an average IELTS of 6.5 for international students.
