Digital Cities North East kicks off this October with an exciting and innovative week of free training and events for the creative industries in the North East. Teesside University will be hosting a range of workshops on 17 and 18 October.

The BBC Academy’s Digital Cities project is an external facing skills and talent initiative, aimed at developing the skills of the current and next generation of content makers working in the creative industries. The project encourages industry partners to come together to boost their region’s digital and production skills and act as a catalyst for exciting collaborations within the creative sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get clued-up on the latest in digital content and hands-on with new technology.

interact with the latest in virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and 360 film
attend exclusive workshops on animation and gaming
get the inside track from the region’s biggest production teams
get to know some of the city’s thriving creative businesses.
