A new student recruitment strategy has been developed, which will impact on all areas of the University. Student recruitment is crucial to the future financial viability of our University. While we have experienced an overall growth in student numbers over the past ten years, the reality is now one of increased and often aggressive competition for students in a busy and crowded higher education market, with prospective students seeking maximum benefit, value and opportunities from what universities and colleges offer.

Latest Student Survey results published
Figures from the latest National Student Survey show that 81% of Teesside degree students are either satisfied, or very satisfied, with their courses.


Dr Jim TerKeurst Jim’s new role hopes to build on success
Dr Jim TerKeurst, Director of the Institute of Digital Innovation (IDI), has been appointed to the role of project director for the University's DigitalCity Innovation project.

An exciting and ambitious sculpture has been installed on the side of the new Institute of Digital Innovation, the Phoenix Building, on Woodlands Road.
