Would you like to take your turn at TURN?
The Graduate Research School is putting together next year’s programme of Teesside University Research Network (TURN) events aimed at staff and postgraduate students with an interest in research.
TURN provides a forum for the research community to meet up on the first Wednesday of each month to discuss the research agenda and headline issues, celebrate success and exchange ideas.
Past speakers have included recently appointed Professors Greg Atkinson and Joyce Liddle who both talked about their areas of research interest and current work.
Dr Tracey Crosbie talked about interdisciplinarity and the challenges of including researchers from diverse fields in project consortia, while Dr Geoff Archer talked about the support available in the university for academic enterprise and engagement with business.
If you would like to present at TURN and give a short talk about your research interests or how your work can support the research community at Teesside please email Lisa Briggs
