If you enter the Vis Awards you could be selected for a rare internship or a work placement opportunity with a prestigious company.

Justin Greetham, from the School of Computing, said: ‘This is a great time to work in the computer games industry. For our students who are looking to break into this industry, the Vis Awards offer a unique opportunity to fast track their career.’

A spokesman for Ubisoft Reflections says: 'Following our successful involvement last year, Ubisoft is again delighted to be sponsoring the Vis Awards at Teesside University for 2010. The University continues to take great strides in aiming to provide the best environment for students looking to become part of UK’s world-class development community, receiving the first accreditation of a BSc in England by Skillset for its Computer Games Programming course and its recent recognition as The Times’ Higher Education Awards University of the Year.

'Our sponsorship of this year’s awards demonstrates the commitment from both sides to help develop future professionals and provide the best opportunities for success.'
