The student complaints pack includes a guide to assist you with the process, and is available below. Before completing the application form, it is important that you have read and understood the Student Complaints Policy & Procedure.

What is a complaint?

Despite the university's best efforts you may encounter problems with services provided by the University. Complaints may arise when you feel that the service you have received from the University has been unsatisfactory and they want it to be investigated.

Where can you get advice?

OSCAR can assist you with the process and the Students' Union can provide advice and guidance on your individual circumstances, including completing the form and accompanying you to meetings.

What can you complain about?

  • standards of service provided by the University, or other action by the University or its staff, or a third party acting on behalf of the University
  • failure by the University or its staff to provide a service, or other lack of action by the University or its staff
  • unfair treatment by the Students' Union on any matter
  • unfair disadvantage attributable to opting out of the Students' Union membership.
