Bowen therapy
What is it?
A gentle and effective holistic therapy, where the practitioner uses their fingers and thumbs to roll over muscle & soft tissue, creating a disturbance in the energy.
It has helped people with back pain, shoulder pain, respiratory problems, migraine, frozen shoulder and many more. It is a progressive treatment whereby clients will need a minimum of 3-4 treatments no more than two weeks apart.
How much does it cost?
Bowen therapy is £16 for staff and £13 for students.
When is it?
Wednesdays, 4.00pm - 7.00pm, in the Well-being Centre consultation room. Appointments are for 45 minutes but please allow an extra 15 minutes for your first appointment.

Important information for appointments
- please bring your own towel
- when you book, let us know if you have high blood pressure, are pregnant, have varicose veins, epilepsy, osteoporosis or an abnormal spine
- don’t come for a massage after a heavy meal
- please give a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations.
