Stop smoking service

What is it?

If you want to stop smoking, you can see our Health Adviser who is a trained Smoking Cessation Adviser. She works in partnership with Middlesbrough Primary Care Trust. She can offer you information and advice on nicotine replacement therapy and can also direct you to other methods of support and self help.

You will get ongoing support (one to one or in a group) to help you to make positive lifestyle changes.

If eligible, you may get a voucher for nicotine replacement products from the Health Adviser.

Cost of patches at the chemist - £17.00 per week
Cost of prescription - £6.60 per week.

Thursday - 10.00am – 11.30am, Well-being Centre consultation room

How much does it cost?

This is a free service, although you may have to pay a prescription charge for nicotine replacement products (unless entitled to free prescriptions).
