Are your students considering a career in education? Do they wonder what this is like and how they can reach their goals? Are they hungry for more information about study pathways and progression?

If so, join us for our Contemporary Issues in Education event to explore the issues faced by students and staff in education.

Students will learn about:
• what is required to succeed at university
• contemporary issues in education they may face
• how current research informs thinking

This event offers:
• theoretical perspectives on working-class culture and attainment, exposing a variety of controversial issues
• an insightful session from our education undergraduates on what it is actually like to study education at Teesside
• a short tour of the library facilities
• an informative session about progression from student to primary school teacher and daily classroom life from an education graduate

Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
