About | Polymer Processing

This comprehensive course provides a basic understanding of how polymeric materials are formed and how that influences and dictates their mechanical and chemical properties.

The course provides a general understanding of polymers and their properties, looks at processing methods, additives and fillers. The final day delves deeper into polymer Rheology (flow) which is critical to understanding a number of the common settings or problems encountered when processing polymers.

Teaching is 40% practical based to ensure content is relevant and outcomes are clearly understood.

The course is taught in small groups and being industry focused we aim to tailor the course to specific student needs whether that be looking at and testing relevant materials or specific blends or processes.

Cost is £840 per delegate (£756 for RAPRA members).
