They develop and maintain strong links with employers and professional bodies, such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Chartered Management Institute and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and contribute to an ongoing research programme.

First-class facilities

Teesside University Business School is based in the Clarendon Building which is at the centre of the University's campus. It offers a high-quality learning and teaching environment which includes open access areas where you can meet with your fellow students or work on computers at your own pace.

As well as offering you an excellent study experience, the Business School offers a number of other exciting opportunities which could help you enhance your employment prospects. You have the opportunity to study a foreign language - we offer courses from beginners' level to advanced in French, German, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.

Between Years 2 and 3 of your study for a bachelor's degree you could go out on work placement with an organisation, giving you the opportunity to put theory into practice. Or you could spend a year studying abroad at one of our American or European partner universities. Many of our European partner institutions offer modules in English, and European exchanges are particularly attractive as you are also normally eligible for an Erasmus grant to help with travel and living costs. If you complete the year abroad successfully, you will be awarded 'with International Study' in your degree title.
