If you have a higher national diploma, foundation degree or equivalent qualification in a finance-related subject, you may enter the final year of the BA (Hons) Business Finance to convert your qualification into an honours degree.
This course combines the best of both worlds – you gain general management expertise as well as invaluable knowledge of accounting and finance. It is aimed specifically at developing financial management skills within a wider business context.
What you study
This year builds upon the knowledge you have already gained in your previous studies. You will explore more advanced topics within the areas of business and finance, and there will be a greater emphasis upon critical thinking and your ability to plan and manage you own learning as an individual and as part of a group. You will also undertake a research project.
How you learn
Modules are taught via lectures, seminars, practical workshops and group work. Teaching staff also adopt a range of web-based technologies to deliver module and programme content, assess, provide feedback and communicate with students.
How you are assessed
The programme is assessed via a variety of methods including assignments, examinations, group work, presentations and live practical projects.
