In Year 2 you develop a specialist knowledge of writing from either the 19th or the 20th centuries, explore literature from the age of Shakespeare and develop your skills in critical and cultural analysis. In Year 3 you plan, research and write a dissertation on a topic of your choice with the support of an individual member of staff who acts as your dissertation supervisor.
