The growing popularity of outdoor activities has led to a professional and growing industry. It is now common to see purpose-built facilities with full-time staff trained to offer a huge range of activities.
If you are a practising or aspiring outdoor leader, this foundation degree equips you perfectly to further your career.
You gain a full understanding of the physical and mental requirements of outdoor activities, enabling you to enhance the experience of performers, empowering them to achieve their potential.
You learn about the core leadership and sport science disciplines which underpin the outdoor leadership profession, and apply these skills in a work-based environment.
This is an award of Teesside University delivered in partnership with Middlesbrough College at their Middlehaven campus (campus code 2, call 01642 333333).
