What do you most enjoy about teaching at Teesside University London?
Teesside University London is a very vibrant and modern university that welcomes students from all over the world. I truly enjoy working with these diverse students and helping them to achieve their academic and career goals.
How do your students benefit from your experience?
With a strong academic record and teaching experience, I support students in developing subject knowledge, critical thinking, study strategies, communication, academic writing, and research skills. I also draw on my industry experience to guide them in building employability skills essential for academic success and career development.

I have worked with several prestigious UK universities and colleges such as the University of Hertfordshire, Bath Spa University, Arden University and ICON College of Technology and Management. I have expertise and experience in teaching different business subject groups such as management, marketing, leadership, and human resources management.
What industry links do you have?
Working with reputed private and public organisations has helped me to establish a strong network with organisations and professionals across various sectors. This wider network allows me to exchange current knowledge and reduce the gap between theories and practice.
How has your industry experience enhanced your teaching?
I have around 14 years of industry experience, alongside teaching experience where I worked with some reputed private and public organisations. In the classroom, I give real-life examples from my practical experiences and help students understand how they can apply theoretical knowledge in the workplace. From my experience, I help and guide students to understand the skills they require for specific industries/sectors and how they can develop them.
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Over the years as a teacher and educator, I have helped students achieve both their academic and career goals, and it is truly satisfying to see their success.

What is the best piece of advice you have for your students?
Keep learning and try to be the best version of yourself. Utilise your time and resources during your time at university. Besides our regular lectures and seminars, we offer lots of training, and workshops to develop academic and employability skills. Ensure during your time at university you develop both your academic and employability skills required to get a job and perform well.
