This three-day course covers all aspects of the diagnostic methods used in clinical medicine including current best practices through to novel approaches to improving healthcare outcomes using smart technologies. Participants will take part in a combination of theoretical and hands-on practical sessions in our state-of-the-art teaching facilities.
Delivered in partnership with the National Measurement Laboratory, this course covers all aspects of diagnostic methods used in clinical medicine - spanning discovery, development, evaluation and integration into mainstream medicine. Including genomic, proteomic and histologic methods, and approaches from laboratory-based to wearable technologies, the course combines lectures from experts and hands-on practical classes. Delegates will learn about requirements for integration into mainstream medicine including how to generate key data used to demonstrate accuracy and about processes for obtaining approval in the UK and overseas.
