Course overview

This course provides you with an insight into the core academic skills needed to help future study at University level. It encourages you to identify and develop relevant skills in areas such as using academic research, academic writing, effective learning strategies and presentation skills.

This course will be delivered online. Please check the entry requirements tab before making your application to ensure you meet the entry criteria and have all the minimum equipment necessary to take part.

Starts Monday 1 June, Mondays & Wednesday for four weeks, 6.00pm-9.00pm.

This course will be delivered via a combination of live sessions, pre-recorded lectures and collaborative sessions. Tutor support will be available during the specified weekly times.

How you are assessed

Each week you will be tasked with completing a reflective blog, which will form a portfolio alongside a 1,500 word assignment.

Entry requirements

As this is an online course it is necessary that you have access to a computer and that you are comfortable learning via an online platform.

International applicants must have an IELTS overall score of 5.5 or higher.
