Business Enterprise and Creativity

 
 

Course overview

You gain insight into the core aspects of business planning, considering innovative learning experiences that focus on business planning as a process and the creativity needed to develop a unique proposition and meet customers’ needs.

You are challenged to consider examples of enterprising organisations of varying sizes, and engage in interactive workshops and discussions.

You learn through a combination of pre-recorded material and live interactive sessions. Tutor support is available during the specified weekly times. Each session includes asynchronous pre-recorded lectures, a live interactive session with your tutor and asynchronous activities related to the session. You interact with brief presentations of some of those activities.

Summer university

Start date: Starts Tuesday 8 June, Tuesdays and Thursdays for four weeks, 6.00pm - 9.00pm

Applications open early April.

This course is delivered online. Please check the entry requirements tab before making your application to ensure you meet the entry criteria and have all the minimum equipment necessary to take part.

You can study up to 30 credits at Summer University and you can select up to three modules on the same application form. If you would like to add a module later, or change one of your choices, then please email summer.university@tees.ac.uk.

Due to the content and delivery of this course, you should be 16 at the time of enrolment. If you are under 18 at the time of enrolment you must provide a completed parental consent form. How you are assessed

You are assessed through a 1,500 word business plan, that includes theory from the course and demonstrates your creativity and entrepreneurship.

 
 

Entry requirements

Entry requirements

As this is an online course you need access to a computer and be comfortable learning through an online platform. A strong and stable internet connection is required, and a webcam and microphone to participate in any interactive elements of the course.

International applicants must have an IELTS overall score of 5.5 or higher.
