Introduction to Game Prototyping

 

Course overview

You are introduced to the fundamental concepts of creating game prototypes. The essence of core gameplay is examined with a strong focus on interaction and how this translates into a tactile, engaging experience.You look at scripting for games through the introduction of fundamental principles of programming including variables, functions and operators. In conjunction with the use of a contemporary game engine, these concepts are used to implement functionality and demonstrate gameplay.

Starts Tuesday 21 January, Tuesdays for eight weeks, 6.00pm - 9.00pm.
