Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Foundations

 

Course overview

This course introduces core artificial intelligence (AI) and data science concepts and tools, focusing on real-life scenarios with practical exposure to relevant software. Various topics such as preparing and working with data, data analysis, problem solving with AI are covered.


This course will be delivered online. Please check the entry requirements tab before making your application to ensure you meet the entry criteria and have all the minimum equipment necessary to take part.

Starts Monday 6 July, Mondays & Wednesdays for four weeks, 6.00pm-9.00pm.

Please note that the above times are when live tutor support is available online. The course is delivered through pre-recorded content and tasks which are released each week and can be worked through at your own pace.

You can study up to 30 credits at Summer University and you can select up to three modules on the same application form. If you would like to add a module later, or change one of your choices, then please let us know by emailing summer.university@tees.ac.uk.

Entry requirements

As this is an online course it is necessary that you have access to a computer and that you are comfortable learning via an online platform.

International applicants must have an IELTS overall score of 5.5 or equivalent.
