How you learn
Teaching and learning includes lectures, workshops and seminars. Assessment includes an individual learning portfolio, essays, a case study, reports, attendance at a one day subject specialist fair, observations of four teaching sessions and completion of at least 50 hours of literacy teaching.

- a Certificate in Education or a Professional Graduate Certificate of Education (or equivalent)
- evidence of personal English skills at level 3 prior to course entry
- a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check for regulated activity
- a teaching practice placement of at least 50 hours in an appropriate context.
