The partnership will offer students to earn whilst they are learning and to gain relevant skills and experience that align with their studies.

This significant step forms part of the portfolio for Teesside University’s careers and employability service Student Futures. Unitemps will be an extension to the existing dedicated and thorough student career support offered to equip students for the future workplace with real-life experience.

Together, they will continue to prepare students for the world of work, providing them with additions for their CVs to improve their career prospects through part-time opportunities.

Started by the University of Warwick in 1997, Unitemps is the leading supplier of temporary staff to the higher education sector and beyond.

Unitemps is a university-owned, campus-based recruitment service which seeks to address the key challenges in higher education, such as employability, compliance and financial limitations.

With flexible work and competitive rates of pay, Teesside University students will be able to apply for jobs on and off campus alongside accruing holiday pay for each hour worked.

Unitemps Teesside is an intelligent staffing solution for local businesses, reducing the administrative workload for hiring managers with state-of-the-art online systems which stream the recruitment process, managing job adverts, applications, shortlisting, timesheets, payroll and legislative compliance.
