Why Teesside?

I am 40 years old and I’m coming to the end of my service in the British Army. I want to gain an academic qualification for my own personal development as well as giving me the best opportunities when I leave the army. I also want to look attractive to future employers.

How is the course?

The course is challenging but laid out incredibly well. I am addicted to improving because of how the course is structured and how it has been delivered online.

What do you enjoy about the course?

The course is really showing me the depth to which the industry goes when designing a product. It covers a wide range of topics, including electrical and electronic which is the path I intend on going down.

What advice would you give students thinking of coming to Teesside?

Set goals for yourself and choose a subject that you have a passion for and work hard to achieve your goals. There is so much to choose from and experience at Teesside. You need to find what you enjoy both personally and professionally.

Would you recommend Teesside?

Yes, it’s so flexible, straight forward and challenging. Nothing is unachievable with the right mindset at Teesside. The student services team are very polite and helpful whenever you have a problem, they are always there when you need them.
